Attempt this mathematics to brighten your brain or obviously run from it as usual

(6k+6) /6 = 7
6(k+1) 6 = 7
k+1 = 7
k = 6
So, k-3, k-1, k, k+2, k+3, k+5 = 6-3,6-1,6,6+2,6+3,6+5.
= 3+5+6+8+9+11 = 42/6= 7

It's a circular problem

Sorry bro, correct me if I'm wrong but going by your argument, the mean of the said question is "7"...because you basically added all numbers and divided by total number of integer... The answer you gave is correct but I think the way you went about it was wrong

The median= [k+(k+2)]/2=7, (2k+2)/2=7, 14=2k+2, k=14-2/2=6.
K=6
Average= (3+5+6+8+9+11)/6=7.

K=6
Avg=7
