A friend needs advice based on fuel consumption and maintenance.

Same 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder engines on both. The Venza is likely to weigh more thereby increasing consumption even if it's by a negligible margin when compared to the camry. If you're buying a Venza with AWD, that's going to give a lower MPG too. Camry will be cheaper to maintain too because less sophisticated parts. Make up your mind.

PS. I have 2011 Camry Toks with duty @ 3.2m. Come and buy

Both cars are the same thing.
Pick the one that looks appealing to you.

Vena has higher ground clearance and Maybe awd. Besides that it's just a regular carry wagon
