Good day mama's. My almost 11 months old baby is down with chicken pox and I also have a 2 year old son who was immunized against chicken pot at one year, the doctor said he is safe since he has been immunised but am still scared. Is there anything I can do to avoid him getting it? Secondly when I bath my baby yesterday she wasn't herself so my mum in law said bathing a chicken pox patient causes a lot of discomfort for them so I should stop bathing her. Mothers, is it okay not to bath her till the chicken pox episode is over? Please mama's don't jump and pass. Thanks in anticipation.

When Atinuke was like 6m or a year or so Moyo brought the pox home. The thing with chicken pox with kids is you can't really control the infection cos as it is highly infectious even before it starts showing or after it has dried off.
My kids had their bath twice a day sef cos I needed to rub fresh calamine lotion regularly.
I used 7 keys in their bath water and calamine lotion to rub them from head to toe. I also used this concoction that had kerosene and Palmoil in it, I don't know if any other thing was added sha (I noticed the pox got dried way faster so I applied this and then the calamine lotion on top of it)
