The Army was working toward a bloodless transition but this old man doesn't want to leave in peace. He thinks he doesn't have anything to loss if he dies.

Mugabe shoud know he is not Gaddafi. He's gonna die like a nobody.
What the army should have done was to seize power and detain him permanently, by calling the VP to take over means that the army is weak and Mugabe want to explore that weakness.

That's against the transition process you know. If you observe the Army is trying not to make this seem like a coup. They actually are not calling it a coup but a transition that's why the VP was immediately invited to take over. The process is not weakness or a show of respect for Mugabe, I think it's because of not wanting external intervention in their country.

That animal should be given 100 years imprisonment, even if he kicks the bucket while serving, his dead body will serve the outstanding before they bury him in evil forest

Mugabe should resign in peace. There is no way the military can give power back to him, they know the consequences. Maybe he is ready to die

He would soon go the way of Ghaddafi. He too was asked to leave, but he bluffed and dared. Power has so much intoxicated Mugabe that he cannot envisage living out the remainder of his life without the daily shot in the arm of power. But power and its sovereignty belong to the people, and they are saying, enough of you and your bedroom cabinet. But Mugabe is in denial.I think it's a question of time before he is forced out.
