Anti-Mugabe protesters in Zimbabwe were spotted with 'Wenger Out' placards at a protest against Robert Mugabe’s regime in Harare.

The ‘Wenger out’ campaign appears to get stronger with every disappointing Arsenal season.

Thousands of Anti-Mugabe protesters marched through Zimbabwe’s capital to demand the removal of Robert Mugabe, 93, after more than four decades in power.

But the signs popped up among the thousands of protesters taking to the streets of Zimbabwe’s capital Harare, as they celebrated the end of an era in their country.

The signs were described as hilarious on social media, with one person describing an anti-Wenger protester as having “the greatest sense of humour”.

The end of the 93-year-old Mugabe's 37-year reign appears certain after the military swept in earlier this week to take control.

But as for Arsene Wenger, his grip on power could last for some time, much to the misery of many.

Some people are professional protesters. They sign up for every event. Like is there a course for that in the university?
