On your response about the POF saved in FD are you saying the person should not do that? I ask because the best advice when saving for this process is to put the monies either in Tbills or Fixed Deposit so that the money doesn't sit and be collecting dust in your account while your bank takes charges on it.

I hope i dont don't get your statement wrong

My understanding of what he wrote was that there was no need to do FD since the date of submission is close.

Doing an FD is more of an investment decision which has little or no bearing on your application. If it's FD, submit the investment certificate. If it's not, submit your ref letter in CIC format. Bank statement can be included.

Hello House,

When applying do you count your part-time experience as a student or just the experience after you obtained your work permit.
For example, how many years of Canadian experience do you have, do you select 3 years if you have been working for 2 years with the company as a part-time student but one year under your work permit.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! grin

Calm down. I too I'm claiming Canadian work experience. It doesn't matter if you have work permit before or after school. What matters is was the job FULL TIME AND PAID? Also that it didnt interfere with school, i.e. you worked in summer or when school was out. I got my work permit before I was done with school,so all full-time work I did when school was out, I'm claiming. Plus the one i did after school.
I did 5 months full time one summer and 2 years 6 months full time after school. So I'm claiming 3 years.
However in your case, part time work doesn't count because it's not up to 40 hours a week. In other words, you can only claim your 1 year Canadian work experience which is still a good 35 points since that's your actual full time work. Don't be greedy grin

Hope this helps.

Update: See below where it says "or an equal amount in part time".......maybe that part time can count, but have no idea what that line means. Or maybe that 2 years part time will be calculated as a year? Then you can claim 2 years? Research more on this yourself though

Visit the school and make the necessary payment.
It's a straight forward process.

Hello, please how do FUTO alumni go about obtaining their transcript? Does anyone know the full process? Does the online portal work or do I still have to go to school in addition to using the portal, or should I just forget about the online portal and go to the school? What exactly do I have to do in school and how long will it take, and finally, should I go to my department or senate for this? Thanks, anyone, in anticipation of your response.

Hello einsteino,

On filling the Iverification portion for UNN Itranscript, the transcript serial ID only accept numbers and the matric number am entering has numbers, letters and special charaters e.g (1234/AB/567891). How did you overcome this?

I replaced the slash with a space. e.g 2007/123896 became 2007 123896.

It's also asking for a compulsory attachment for a document to be verified. Do I take a screen shot of the message from WES and attach or ??

I attached mine but I doubt they even care about that. So to fulfill the javascript form validation, just upload the scanned copy of your degree certificate/WES message if you dont have a scan of your transcript

Hello Einsteino,

It's been like twelve days since I paid for UNN to verify my transcript and result through the Iverification portal yet not news. Should I be worried? Do you have contact I could call to check for update?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, you are correct. For instance, if your total part time per week is 50 hours it will only count as a 25 hours. Ditto for annually prorated working hour.

I think it is time to publicize this issue on social media, British Council's inefficiency is astronomical.

Especially the Lagos office, they don't take call, they don't reply emails or even acknowledge them.

I am currently experiencing the same issue, I have plans for them. I would escalate this to the highest heaven.

They are so nonchalant, how would they be having the same issues for years. what happened to process improvement.

Well that's what you get when you put clueless people in charge. Its a matter of time, I plan on naming names and calling out their staff. Their top management should know the hands they need to get rid of angry angry

12 weeks? Na wa for British Council. Their inefficiency is something else. Their customer service is also very poor. Your IELTS issue will surely end in praise.

Hello great people,
For WES assessment is it photocopy of my transcript I should send to them or original. I intend to use the original transcript for other application outside EE.

Hmmmmh. Photocopy of your transcript sent by you? I understand you have a copy of your transcript already, but you can't use it for WES evaluation. It must be sent directly by your institution.

By the way, try reading up page 0 and use the search button to query the thread before resorting to folks for clarification.

I even doubt you have visited WES website at all.

Hello

I have 4 accounts with funds inclusive of a domiciliary account which i intend to use for POF. All Funds on these account amounts to about CAD 13,500. Is is ok to use all four accounts or i just move all my funds to one place? If i do this, how do i justify the singular lump sum transfers?
Does GTB, Stanbic or Access give reference in this regard?

You can send a personal message to me. However, the most important thing is to ensure that the necessary details required by CIC are included in the letter.

Those guys are mean. Your EoR is probably out but they would rather keep you waiting. I had a similar experience, only for me to see that my EoR was done and sent to them from the UK in less than 8weeks. Pm me (oh I see you are also d PM) and I will give you a direct email address to contact one of the folks in charge of EoRs.
