I'll make this as short as I can.

I was in the market for a powerful laptop I needed for my work and study. I searched on amazon.com and I saw several good options but the problem was buying and shipping down here. Amazon.com exchange rate was like 319 to a $ but my bank never allowed me pay with my card due to dynamic currency ish and disagreement with exchange rates. I looked into mallforafrica aka mallforcriminals and could you believe they quoted me in the excess of #340,000 for a $700 laptop. What!? I closed their app and left.

My friend who is active here on nairaland recommended mayorall. I had already ordered amazon gift cards in batches of $100 each when he told me about mayorall and amazon would charge my card withing an hour. I contacted mayorall and transfered the money for the 700USD laptop without even knowing who he was or reading his thread just to avoid amazon.com billing my card. I just trusted my friend's judgement.

14 days later my lappy was ready for pickup and I typed this from it.

I spent about 231k to buy the lappy

paid $30 for shipping and $48 for tax (which I did not like)

But mallforcriminals wanted like 340k ish, sometimes you end up paying for shipping more money than you spent shopping grin
