FUTASU PRESS RELEASE

​THE DOWNWARD REVIEW OF THE ACCEPTANCE FEE OF THE FIRST BATCH OF PROVISIONALLY ADMITTED STUDENTS.​


The Federal University of Technology Akure Students' Union (FUTASU), a consortium of articulate, dynamic, pragmatic, progressive and vibrant students' leader, wish to intimate the First batch of provisionally admitted students and the general populace that:


I- After thorough and extensive deliberation with the University Management, the Acceptance Fee for the First batch of provisionally admitted students has been reduced drastically from N50,000 to N40,000 due to the current economic situation of the country.


II- The 2-week window to enable the parents and/guardians of successful candidates to make payment for the Acceptance Fee still stand.


III- There will be a refund of the extra amount already paid by any desperate and eager parent/guardian who might have hurriedly made the payment of N50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira).


The FUTA SUG sincerely thank the Vice Chancellor, the Dean of Students' Affairs and the entire University Management for having a listening ear and for the urgent downward review of the acceptance fee.


The Students' Union also appreciate the unflinching support of NANS Senate Presidency, National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Joint Campus Committee of Ondo state, Past FUTA SUG Presidents and senior comrades who played pivotal roles in the struggle.


We will continue to protect the interests of the students as contained in the sacrosanct constitution of Federal University of Technology Akure Students' Union (FUTASU).


Once again, Congratulations to the provisionally-admitted students.

I paid my acceptance fee of N40,000 through Diamond Bank Plc via the E-tranzact platform with confirmation order number : 06314102311510137536345. Unfortunately, I got an error message "Invalid paytype". Can anyone please help? My utme registration number is "75915581EC. Thanks.

Please, take note that first batch acceptance fee payment closes today Friday, 17th of Nov., 2017.
Kindly visit any etranzact enabled bank to pay the acceptance fee of #40,300. Bank's charges inclusive.

The second batch list will soon be out. Note: it is majorly for predegree and direct entry aspirants.


Lastly, watch out for Change of Course form.

Hey guys,anybody who can help me with this issue. I've been given admission by FUTA and I have paid my acceptance fee and printed my admission letter from FUTA portal but I haven't seen anything regarding admission on Jamb CAPS. Just how important is JAMB CAPS?

If you are interested in staying in the hostel, you will be notify when the application start in due time.

The Federal University of Technology Akure Students' Union (FUTASU), a consortium of articulate, dynamic, pragmatic, progressive and vibrant students' leader, wish to intimate the First batch of provisionally admitted
students and the general populace that:

After thorough and extensive deliberation
with the University Management, the deadline for the payment of Acceptance Fee for the First batch of provisionally admitted students has been extended till 24th of November, 2017.

I. The 1-week grace window is provided to enable the parents and/guardians of who were previously unable to meet up with the payment to make such payment with haste, as there would be no further extension.

II. The acceptance fee still remains Fourty Thousand Naira Only (NGN 40, 000), and candidates are advised to ensure confirmation of payment on the university website after successful payment.

The Federal University of Technology Akure Student Union Government sincerely appreciate the Vice Chancellor, the Dean of Students' Affairs and the entire University Management for having a listening ear and for the extension of time provided for the payment of the acceptance fee.
