bakila: konoplyanka: edupedia: mrzenith1: Throwback: You should refund your school fees to your parents and apologize to all your teachers, how does Igbo officers being majority of those reinstated translate to Igbo officers being majority of those involved in the said case. Even SR made the issue clear and someone has posted the details of the apo six case yet you choose ignorance ,or just lack the brain required for comprehension. |

We're are always very quick to assume the worst about each other, our pent up anger is constantly at the brink of explosion, this anger is triggered by the slightest wisp of news whether true or false. We're judgmental and we seek to find faults with each other. Let's take a chill pill, ruminate and digest matters, hence make reasonable conclusions and thought provoking comments rather than spew evil about each other. As much as I hate anything that depicts violence, prejudice, ethnic rivalry and the likes, i also detest shallow minded discussions and arguments. from the information i gleamed from the news, the policemen involved in the killing were Igbo, yoruba and Hausa. therefore, it wasn't a killing that was clouded by ethnic rivalry. Although, I don't know if the policeman in question is guilty or not, but we shouldn't turn every news into a tribalistic argument, receive every news with an open mind. 1 Like |

Throwback: You made the bolded comment and no where was this stated, you made a sentimental bigoted comment which is a reflection of upbringing, I have nothing against his reinstatement ,just against brainless tribalism. konoplyanka: God of heaven ,you mean you have not googled the details of the case,nd cannot see that posted in page 2 ......you are dumb as a plank....no offence to planks. |

But there are some Igbo names among these Police officers ,so what happens to kinsmen spirit? or does it mean that the Igbos on the team are also hateful of their kinsmen and no iota of loyalty or sympathy for the hapless victims? there is more to it than meet the eye,RIP to the dead |

Re: Apo Six: Nigeria Police Reinstates Officer Who Killed Igbo Traders by Throwback: 11:41am On Nov 24, 2017 |
donguutti: The earlier comments made it a tribal case, and I punctured their arguments with the fact that Igbo officers were involved in the killing of Igbos. This much fact was stated in the news reportcwith the names of the police men alleged to be involved in the crime. So my factual statement rather punctured the sentimental opinions of the emotional Igbos who have been brought up with their clannish bias to always reason as tribal victims. |

Kollins12:. ....copied from Punch Newspaper (Kunle Falayi) The Police high command set up a Special Investigation Panel, which indicted six police officers over the killing - Danjuma Ibrahim (Deputy Commissioner of Police), Othman Abdulsalam (Chief Superintendent of Police), Nicholas Zakaria (Assistant Superintendent of Police), Ezekiel Acheneje (Police Constable), Emmanuel Baba (Police Constable), Sadiq Salami (Police Constable). |

For those lacking comprehension saying Igbos recalled were more. Read the messages again. The other officers appeal are not related to the Apo 6 killings The whole list contain names of officers recalled who had appealed their suspension and dismissal and not just the Apo 6. If I am not mistaken Danjuma is the only person recalled related to the APO 6 |

Re: Apo Six: Nigeria Police Reinstates Officer Who Killed Igbo Traders by gidgiddy: 3:41pm On Nov 24, 2017 |
ivandragon: Sorry but you are wrong. Had the Apo 6 been Hausa-Fulani, they would have still been alive. But they were Igbo and the rest is history. During operation Python dance, the Army had no problem killing and dehumanising unarmed IPOB But we saw video of the same Nigerian Army guarding Northerners on their way to pray in the Mosque in Aba during the same operation. In Nigeria, injustice wears an ethnic face. |

thecontentking:So Igbo officers are entitled to appeal and be reinstated but Danjuma is not? Hold Danjuma to the same yardstick applicable to your brothers. |

Who signed the reinstatement document? We have to get to the bottom of strange things happening in Nigeria Police force. Little wonder the force was voted the worst Police force in the WORLD! Think about it. |

They Igbo people are their own worse enemy. I have never seen such a divided group like them. I am sure there is a secret file blacklisting the Igbos coupled with d habit of selling out their own brothers for personal gains. I am not an Igbo but I do not support injustice, cheat, & greed under any pretence or whatsoever reason. Let them continue. |
