I'm sure your parents will be so ashamed of you wherever they are right now. Coming here to showcase your stupidity and telling the whole world you graduated with a 2.2.. Hide your head in shame |

HeyCorleone:Over 95% of best students from virtually all secondary schools go for professional courses like Engineering, Medicine, Law, Accounting etc as their first choice. Many other courses are usually a second choice. The truth remains that some second class upper students in some department will make straight first class in other courses. This we all know its true. In any case, it is not cheap having a first class in any department but some department pose much greater challenges. |
| Re: Obaseki John Folorunsho Eseiwi: UNIBEN Best Graduating Student (Photos) by HeyCorleone(m): 4:13pm On Nov 27, 2017 |
Ken4Christ:What so you mean by "...a second class upper student will make a straight first class in other courses."?! I'm assuming you haven't been to the university, otherwise you'd understand courses are very distinct. It's deeper than the books you read. It's a mindset. It's very possible that someone with a First Class in the sciences won't even make a 2'2 in the Arts or Management Sciences. As the saying goes "everybody na king for him lane". Don't make such unreasonable statement anywhere again. Please. |

hardbody:Until a true census is done in Nigeria, the terms minority or majority are tentative. |
| Re: Obaseki John Folorunsho Eseiwi: UNIBEN Best Graduating Student (Photos) by hardbody: 5:19pm On Nov 27, 2017 |
teflonjake:This may be correct but there is no nexus between this and the subject matter under consideration or the conversation between you and i. I hate to digress. |
| Re: Obaseki John Folorunsho Eseiwi: UNIBEN Best Graduating Student (Photos) by teflonjake(m): 5:24pm On Nov 27, 2017 |
hardbody:I see, but you brought up the term minority. Anyways be good |
| Re: Obaseki John Folorunsho Eseiwi: UNIBEN Best Graduating Student (Photos) by hardbody: 5:30pm On Nov 27, 2017 |
HeyCorleone:Tell em bro. I always tried to let people know that a science student by birth and orientation is home and dry with calculations and is far removed from prose and comprehension. It doesn't make the science orientated person smarter or duller than his arts based colleague or vice versa. I am a living example. I was scared of maths so much so that i refused to enter maths class in the secondary school. After graduation and when I went in for MBA, i realized i could handle calculation and did well in topics such as differentiation, dy/dX, statistics was beautiful, calculus, etc. But this was me who couldn't find the size of anything using any manner of formular at all. Pythagoras theorem became child's play. Anyways, i still remain a lawyer and still loving it. |

teflonjake:You did by implication. But i will let it slide. |
| Re: Obaseki John Folorunsho Eseiwi: UNIBEN Best Graduating Student (Photos) by Ken4Christ: 5:36pm On Nov 27, 2017 |
HeyCorleone:I mean could make not will make. And it is very true. Ask intelligent minds. I am sure you were probably in your nursery school when I graduated from the University. |
| Re: Obaseki John Folorunsho Eseiwi: UNIBEN Best Graduating Student (Photos) by HeyCorleone(m): 5:41pm On Nov 27, 2017 |
Ken4Christ:So a 2.2 student in Engineering or Biochemistry would make a First class hons in History or Political Science? I have seen it all on Nairaland. If indeed I was in my Nursery stage when you were in the University, then I can't help but wonder just exactly how you process your thoughts, because you make very grave errors in reasoning. |

as long as we make money the measure of success, we won't know the real meaning of success. A fool is still a fool no matter how much dollar he has. Kudos to the best graduating student, I studied the same plant biology and biotechnology in the same UNIBEN, if you feel the course is simple, go and try it and come out with first class. Everyone is a king in his own land |
