Nothing is 100 percent certain in politics, but you have to try. If Buhari is reelected, in 2023, the Igbo would have a bargaining chip that cannot be easily swept off the carpet, in that Igbo would be the only group that has not produced president in 4th Reublic.

Yoruba have produced; Niger Delta have produced; the North would have completed Yar Ardua’s truncated tenure. It would then be difficult not to give it to the Igbo in 2023.

If we don’t play our cards right, by 2040, we may still be talking about Igbo Presidency, without much bargaining chips.

Let Ohaneze, the Youths etc, begin to put our house in order, while voting for Buhari in 2019.

If Igbo politicians know what is good in their interest.

They should support Buhari with a precondition that Ibo will produce President in 2023.

Any other northerner now will want to spend another 8 years.

As usual they are myopic and just want to eat something right now.

I honestly like to see an Igbo man rule Nigeria. Though I hate the attitude of blackmailing and lack of respect for others by the Igbos.

Buhari will win comfortably without the SE as per your analysis and statistics..

So, stop promising Igbos presidency in exchange for support.

If he wants support, let him start work on the 2nd Niger bridge and I'll carry am for head.

Its ongoing

For national cohesion

Power will move to the south east

Not due to the support

What we want is the support of other region after the election in 2023

The south Easterner president that will be loved by all

Nigerians don't have a choice.

It is either you support Igbo presidency or their Biafra will stand.

As for 2019, the Igbos should not take sides but eat ofe Nsala on that day and wait for their turn.

After Buhari, you guys have 2 choices
1) Igbo presidency

2) Biafra.

Deny the Igbos presidency and lose them to Biafra under international backup.

Remember that the US said Nigeria will collapse by 2015

Remember that the US refused to declare IPOB a terrorist group.

What it means, is that the US will help IPOB to secede once the Igbos are denied power.

So tell Nigerians to start warming up to be ruled by any Igbo man including the one they despise.

Nwanne, Igbos will not take sides by 2019.

Ofe Nsala on that day.

But by 2023, Sarrki will be the one pleading for Igbo presidency so that the US does not give IPOB her blessing.

No one in his right mind would give that guarantee. Besides, Buhari won without the Igbos in 2015. He can replicate it. I’m all for continuity - Osinbajo 2023. He would be better off giving the yorubas that precondition even though they don’t hate him like the igbos

well ndigbo aren't that hot about presidency
while u are at ur propaganda sit back and think why igbos are so passionate about biafra
like i said ditch d igbo in ur moniker cuz believe u me NO igbo person will ever create ds type of thread
Bede2u:
this is u being silly. The Igbo cause has nothing to do with being president. That is why pre-kanu, igbos never fought for presidency.... even when in 2003, buhari made okadigbo running mate and when pdp wasnt yet strong, igbos voted pdp. Igbo cause is merit and equity, not nonsense politics that has never helped anybody

For ur info, kanu was as critical of gej as he was of buhari. He had no kind word for anybody or party
You people are deceiving yourself. If Igbo's didn't care about presidency while crying marginalization? Everybody is fully aware that the main reason my Igbo brothers are defending Biafra agitation is marginalization which include the presidential seat. The sooner Igbo's realise voting Buhari is the best option for them, the more chances for them of leading the country.

If you don't vote Buhari and he doesn't win in 2019 because you didn't vote, by 2023, whoever wins will be thinking of second term. If dey come defeat that person, na back to square one for Igbo Presidency till when?

sad The problem of Nigeria is zoning presidency. No longer capable hand. Nigeria will keep dwelling in poverty and backwardness until we realise that the best pattern of moving a country forward is looking for a capable hand and not just trying to please a particular tribe.
In a sane country, a dullard like buhari has no business in government. But he's from the north nah
