Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu, has rented a mansion in the elitist Maitama District of the Federal capital territory (FTC) Abuja, News Express can report this morning.

The storey building located at No. 8B, Rudolf Close, off Katsina Ala Crescent, in the highbrow Maitama District, was the abode of a former federal minister who died some time in May 2014.

An impeccable source said: “The property was rented to the Acting EFCC Chairman for N40,000,000 at N20,000,000 per annum.

“Furthermore, the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) curiously awarded a contract to Africa Energy, a company owned by Rtd Air Comm. Umar Muhammad, to furnish the residence at the cost N43,000,000, in a Government where the President is known to have frowned at and rebuked his ministers for requesting N20,000,000 each to secure accommodation and furnish them.

“It is shocking that the man spearheading the anti-corruption crusade of the government will be involved in such a venture. More surprising is the involvement of FCDA in renting a house for EFCC and under what arrangement.”

News Express made efforts to get the reaction of Magu and EFCC but the commission’s spokesmen Osita Nwajah and Wilson Uwujaren did not respond to text messages sent to them seeking their reaction to the story.

Buhari is in Asorock today simply because of the insatiable greed of one man, Tinubu.

For the sake of honesty, I must point out here that the ex-Lagos state governor is a political genius. An evil genius, some would argue but a genius all the same.

A betting man would bet that the whole idea was the hope of a Deja Vu of the Yar'Adua situation. Knowing Buhari's medical history, Tinubu was expecting the Yar'adua-zation of the Buhari character to enable him (Tinubu) become Nigerian president by proxy.

But he forgot one important fact:

In war (politics is war. Bloodless war) to achieve victory, you must not just have a very good strategy, you must equally know your enemies plan.

Tinubu failed to read the handwriting on the wall.

If he did, he would know that the Buhari presidency was not a Buhari project. It was a very big project initiated by the feudal #ChildrenOfTheCaliphate with a view to returning power to the North at all cost. In this project, everything and everyone was expandable. Even Buhari who is theoretically the 'owner' of this project is but a mere pawn in the whole arrangement as recent events have shown.

The fulanis don't share power. Even if Buhari dies today, Osinbajo can only be in office as his replacement but he can never be in power. So either way, Tinubu had reckoned without the witches.

Saraki should shut up as law makers what have they done about the ways recovered looted funds should go. All the executive bills including those that deals with recovered stolen funds are yet to be considered by the NA. The fight against corruption is supposed to be by all arms of government and not just the executive. Saraki should be ashamed to led a national assembly that can not ensure the existence of applicable laws to safe guide recovered funds from looters. They are a lot of issues in the government today because bad elements like Saraki and his PDP descendants will never allow anything to go well. He should prove it that truly some of the recovered funds can not be accounted for? I thought they never believed that there is a fight against corruption so I wonder what recovered loot he want them to account for? Useless Senate president. Saraki is the senate president and must be informed than you. How are you sure of the statement you're defending? If the monies in question is actually utilized judiciously Saraki will not echo as such. However, is the senate president politicizing against the APC party he represents? Answers please
