Facts have emerged that United Kingdom Government is planning to return $900 million allegedly looted by late former Governor of Bayelsa State, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, to the state.
In September 2005, Alamieyeseigha was arrested and tried in the UK for money laundering.
He jumped bail and fled to Nigeria.
However, a source close to the ongoing arrangement informed our correspondent that the UK Government has almost concluded arrangements with the Bayelsa State Government to return $900 million allegedly looted by late Alamieyeseigha to the coffers of the state.
According to him: “There is mobilization ongoing in Bayelsa State as I am speaking to you to take delivery of the looted fund by the late governor of the state.”

I'm sure the looted funds we have in different countries can take care of our 2018 budget..

Hey bro ..wassup ..you are right about the curreny hardship and the cars for sale ...Thats why i get suprised when i hear people say we should give Buhari a chance so the north can finish their 8 years but my question is that why should we keep suffering for 8 years just because of of tribal sentiment that hold no water near merit ...Governance should be 100 percent based on merit and not some primitive sentiments

Sad enough, who was his Deputy Governor when the looting was going on? Goodluck Odechuku, Abdule El reterdeen Jonathan who I believe participated hence his refusal to declare his assets till today.


Alams did not build commission any project in that state and even Goodluck Odechuku, Abdule El reterdeen Jonathan who took over after the crooked, corrupt and incompetent Alams did not build or commission ordinary dog cage in Bayelsa.


The Federal Senator representing that state did his own looting as the DG of NTA for 8 years and even absconded with N11 billion taxpayers money and is now permanently located on Twitter instead of the Senate floor in Abuja representing his people.


These SS states are cursed with horrible leaders.
