Kog45:That is correct! Obama really influenced the 2015 election, but Jonathan was not smart enough to understand the treachery of the Northern politicians and their soft spot for BH. |

tiwiex:Of course, the blame stops with Obama considering he was the President, but Hillary wasn't a reluctant party in that poorly-hqndled regime change. There was nobody to take over once Gaddafi was removed, all they could fantasise about was removing him, whatever followed wasn't their business. Gaddafi also did himself and the country no favours, obviously, there's a power vacuum because of non-existent political institutions. And yes, it was all about oil. Look around and you'll notice America hasn't entered North Korea because there's nothing to ne gained by going there. Even the Syrian debacle was oil-related. It's really a complex issue that truly can't be addressed with just one post. |

Adminisher:Bro you are calling him ignorant but on the same page with him. If Obama himself admits Libya as his mistake then why are you blaming France and Co? Don't act like you don't know that these countries you mentioned are allies with USA sitting at the head of the table. Long and short, USA wanted Gadhafi dead, whoever sent the first jet fighter or weapons support to the rebels notwithstanding |

America and all these other Developed countries have a policy of eliminating their threats.. Gaddafi was a threat to America and they got him out of the way and as far as I am concerned he did right by his country... As for the aftermath of their actions, it is none of their business and rightly so... It is our own problem The libyans ousted their government without a succession plan... They are as dumb as the rest of the africans... Africa useless gan |

tiwiex: Guess you did not get the true picture! 1. The US government was trying to install their puppet in Libya because US was supporting a secular leader, Mahmoud Jibril, in a vote for prime minister due on 12 September then. If Jibril won, the Libyan security warned, they would "no longer guarantee security". 2. The US model led to a forceful invasion Libya and blood was spilled. 3. The US tried their model in Nigeria and successfully executed their plan by providing support for the media wing of APC, betraying the GEJ government by failing to supply Nigeria with weapons based on the APC propaganda. 4. The Northern collusion with Obama led to a successful sabotage of the GEJ government and the APC stylishly rode on the ignorance of the masses. 5. Jonathan was not smart enough for the position of president because he failed to prosecute some corrupt folks. 6. The collusion alliance enjoyed by the APC with Obama won't be possible in 2019, because Trump does not identify with the APC agenda. 7. Clinton Hillary could have further supported the Northern agenda. 8. 2019 is here, let's see how the game is going to pan out. Atiku is already colluding with the British... Other collusion will become evident as time goes on. 9. Most of our politicians are saboteurs who ride on the goodwill of the masses in order to perfect their personal agenda and not the interest of the nation. |

its not Obama that people should blame but Nicholas Sarkozy. I read in one the top western media house site that sarkozy was the one who was pushing to overthrow Gaddafi because he wanted his country's forex reserve to be in gold bullion and some other economic policy which would have severely hurt French and other western economies |

The idea was to install a puppet who will ground the Nigerian economy. Hahahahahahah dull folks can't understand how it all panned out. 2019 will be a dramatic ride .... Your thoughts are perfect bro! |

You are a real mugu. France, Britain, Japan, Australia, Canada and the rest are all vassal. They all come under one control structure. NATO's budget is mostly paid by America. NATO is a vassal created by America to counter Russia during the communist days. France and the mentioned countries are irrelevant, they just put a name on it to make it sound like countries are coming together. Even Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Jordan are all vassals too. Germany, France and Britain are even under US. occupation with US. military bases stationed in their country, Even Japan and South Korea are under occupation as well, they don't have independent policies, America and Zionist Israel dictates to all. You are indeed a mugu. US has no allies, only terrified hostages. Europe is a slave continent used to project American imperialism. I will say it for the third time- You are a big mugu Adminisher: |

Nukilia:"Reno is not a sincere person" choose your words carefully so you expect Reno and GEJ to fight while there's a whole lot of African leaders and the greedy AU leaders like you said. |

Nukilia:How dumb can you be? Really, a puppet? so the GEJ you know that couldnt even stop his own staff from looting the country dry would have been a hard nut for the west abi? that they will now need to take him out to give way for a 'puppet'. Obama was simply disgusted with GEJ's cluelessness take it or leave it. |

seguno2:Omokri's post is not about Nigeria or blacks. Our problems are well documented. This is about what Libya was like before Gaddaffi was toppled? It is about the needless, calculated decapitation of Libya's leadership in 2011, that lead to the destabilization of one of Africa's most stable, prosperous countries under the guise of sharing democracy by NATO & it's allies at the behest of US. I remind you of Hilary Clinton's (who was then Secretary of State) comment when Gaddafi was toppled - "We came, we saw, he died". This laid the foundation for Libya as a new terror hotspot. The rest is history as Libya slides back into the stone age. Thankfully in the 2016 elections she more than met her match in Putin who vowed not to see her continue from where Obama left off in Syria/Middle East. Cc: TWoods

Why the rant on Nairaland? When the strafing of Libya started by Obama and killary's administration, WE REJOICED! They came through NATO and systematically stopped Gaddafi from strafing the militias, while they were using the airspace, WE REJOICED! he was caught sprawling, squinting and finally killed... WE REJOICED! Even our brothers telegraphed and radioed that Gaddafi is the best thing ever to happen to Libya, we that were not affected said he must go, while forgetting our own wayward leaders... WE REJOICED! His widow cried out that first degree murders were carried out against Gaddafi's family members. Instead to offer ANODYNE words, WE REJOICED! They called him the MAD dog of the Middle East, when you loose your dog, you bear the consequences. The centre can no longer hold in Libya, so, things must fall apart. Now, we are sniffling, cos, what we sowed, we are reaping. We now recall we sowed a bad seed! Eyeeeh... No! WE NO LONGER REJOICE! OVER AND OUT ! |

This guy is stupid. Is it Obama that told gadaffi to arm tuaregs and bandits left and right because of his lust for power? And to be truthful, if any leader is to be blamed for the fall of gadaffi, it's Sarkozy, not even Obama But everybody likes to talk |
