Umahi is better than okowa of delta and bayelsa governor too. Umahi pays salaries and on time. He also has infrastructural vision. |

This is laughable, salaries that the governor slashed by 50% since he assumed office in 2015. He claims to pay 13th month salary which is just a meagre 5% of one's take home wage. You can imagine 5% of 28k which is less than 2k is what a government would say is 13th month salary. Pensioners are dying in their numbers. Nweze Francis is just a political stooge of Ebonyi State govt, we know their antics. No make me vex ds morning. |

Nweze1986: Wow! Wonders will never end... So paying civil servants their earned monthly salary & bonuses has become an achievement for which a Governor is now appraised? This reasoning weird & annoying. Is he paying it with his personal money? The Paris Club Fund was specifically set aside by FG for this purpose. What's the need for celebration? It's a loan to be repaid. No wonder Nigeria is left in the doldrums of underdevelopment...when you have below mediocres as leaders & followers, this is what you get. I'm appalled this is making a headline. |

Rejoice for getting what they are entitled to and owed in arrears? The government should be apologizing and not the workers rejoicing. Keep promoting mediocrity. 1 Like 1 Share |

Nigerians are the hardest people to please on earth, always lamenting. In as much as it's the governors duty to pay salaries i think Dave among few governors that pay their civil servants should be commended, so many of their counterparts have refused to pay even after collecting several bail out funds yet we haven't done them anything. |
