Targeting the US wld expose him to a stiff competition and result in less traffic. That would ultimately negate the high cpc.

Increase your traffic and target the US. I started earning active view CPM when i started targeting US. CPC hovers around $0.15 - $0.18 (max 0.22)

Work on your;

1. Traffic

2. SEO

3. Don't rely on Adsense alone, seek for more alternative like affiliate programmes from Amazon, Jumia, Konga etc

4. Be original

5. Use the social media for your article sharing
