No matter how you wanna spin it, this is a major and huge embarrassment. When R. Kelly came to Naija, the publicity wasn't huge but it was a sold out show. Lots of international artists have performed without major publicity in Nigeria, and still had heavy attendance. You can't tell me that an organizer who could pay to bring wizkid down, couldn't afford to pay for publicity. The boycott most likely, has nothing to do with publicity.

I really like wizkid kid but he shud stop all these international nonsense. he made his fame here, got his money here and conquered d market here. He can never conquer the market over there. Go into the streets in US and ask fans about wizkid and some artist like Chris brown I bet ur finding will be a 20 in a thousand fans who knew who wizkid is. Has dbanj gotten more popular and famous than he was b4? my own answer is NO but yet he has been there. U can't sing or rap more than them. that is what ruggedman said and I believe him 1000%. Wizzy shud start giving us hit songs like Davido, olamide and even Phyno is doing and my love for his music will skyrocket. for now I will always chose my frog voice that is giving me something to relate with than international but local Chris brown is doing.
