Restructure or no restructure
Nigeria will remain what she is because 99.9% of our politicians are talkative women with no action to their words.

I went to a Naijabet shop to charge my phone today. And I was weeping inside of me to see young uneployed men playing visual game for hours just because their are no jobs and everyone is looking for free money.

I have always maintained that the best reform Nigeria needs presently is fiscal federalism(restructuring). Not secession.

Wish the north will agree to this. It's obvious the north is the clog in the wheel of restructuring.

The only region that is afraid of restructuring is that region with five villages saturated by red mud and ravaged by gully.

The particular region that is too unproductive to retain its people. They are scattered everywhere in the SW and the north claiming development.

Ironically, they are the first to tag other parasites, ask them how much percentage of oil and VAT they contribute to Nigeria, they start giving flimsy excuse of a war that ended some 47 years ago.
Beware!

This is an abokki trying to cause online strife between Yoruba and Igbo.

A united south is a nightmare to the north.

The northern leaders are simply mocking the south. They are saying look Kanu is gone and no one is pushing for restructuring again. What happened between the last time they kicked against it and now? Kanu's disappearance.

The reason y nobody in the senate from d south wants to table it is necessary nobody wants to look like an nnamdi kanu. Nobody wants to be d enemy of d state. Bring it up in d Senate den face the wrath of Nigeria. So use ur head man and stop reasoning like a child. That was y nnamdi Lani was calling for secession cos he knew restructuring will never happen. The only way it can happen is when d people rise up with one voice and speak as one. Even our governors want it but dey can't go against Nigeria.try it and see if allocation to ur state will not be cut off. Use ur head boy.

AZeD1:
You are the still a learner. The ruling elites in ALL regions don't want restructuring. They have succeeded in diving Nigeria along religion and regional lines so folks down South would see it as the North opposed to restructuring.
Ask yourself why no Senator from the South has tabled a bill for restructuring to the National Assembly.

Ifeanyi4491:
Now the question is who or what is
stopping it from happening? The East, West and South have all echoed with one voice that the only solution to Nigeria's problems is restructuring, and the north have never made any, Atiku who came out to support it received a lot of backlash from the same Northern elites. Who is deceiving who in this country? If the north are really in support of restructuring then
let them take the necessary steps towards achieving that.
Does Atiku represent Northern Nigeria? Because I'm pretty sure that people like Lamido Sanusi and Buhari have all been for resconstruction a long time ago. Stop making up bullsh1t.

Please can some one tell Mr. Lallong that however provocative it was for him, calls for dissolution of Nigeria, or a group or groups unilaterally declaring secession from Nigeria, shall be higher very soon, if Nigeria is not politically restructured soon.

It's most disgusting to see some one from the Middle belt of Nigeria whose people are supposed to benefit more from a restructured Nigeria talking the way this Lallong spoke here. Fulani cattle rearers cannot continue with their exploits in Lalung's plateu in a politically restructured Nigeria.

The political structure obstructs development in the south. Who gave Lalong the power to insist that northern Nigeria must continue to hide under the governance system to dictate the pace of development in the south for much longer?

If you are not afraid of restructuring then support the demand for restructuring. Otherwise, you words are just that - mere words.

What time did you go there? Because if is in the evening/night, then they could have closed from work and it could be NEPA that forced them out of their house.

Stupid Tambuwal who thinks that all southerners are fools.
Let him show us his legislative records as member and Speaker moving motions for restructuring.
Otherwise he is a big, bloated liar just like all the APC people.

Only the lazy ones fears restructuring
Is the north not lazy?
Otherwise, how much are they contributing to the federation account monthly?
If they are not lazy, why is their region so backwards and filled with illiterate almajiris despite receiving more federal allocation monthly than the south since 1960huh
