Yea u ar right about how world trade agreements grossly disfavour Africa.
But that is nature. Every human is first of all selfish and can only relent when he meets an equal or superior power. So when the super powers make policies, it's normal to favour themselves and take advantage of laser powers like Africa who can't compete. After all most inventions n patents are coming from the western world. So why will they not favour themselves more?
So right from conception life is a survival of the fittest. So no one is gonna protect ur ass out there, u got to go fight for ya portion.

These are same partners lifting crude for decades in nig but never built a rifinery here. All NNPC is interested in is to package million dollars contracts to a sick president in London to sign.

When the sickness became serious and every one was praying for him here (where the hospitals don't work) he ran to London where they don't pray (but the health system works) for treatment. Only for his wife n daughter to affirm that the clinic in the villa has no string n pcm yet nothing is done about that. After all he can afford to take a chunk of that hospital budget to go treat himself abroad. Tell me my friend is that also a problem of the west on Africa

Because most Nigerians would rather have "cheap" electricity and fuel they can never lay hands on, rather than accepting that good things are worth paying for. I blame the 1970s oil-boom that bred an entitlement mentality Nigerians have never since been able to shake.

exactly but that time is gone and besides Nigeria's population is too much for that. In countries like Algeria, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, it's possible because their population is OK but in Nigeria the population exceeds the government budget coupled with mismanagement and corruption.

Note: we all need each other but some countries have shown that it was built by its citizens..
