Used to think that Okorocha had some political sense, now i am convinced that he wants to commit political suicide before finishing his tenure.

With all that he is doing, tell me, who in Imo will dare vote APC again ?
This guy is a shame to all who held him as a guy with sense

The poor are under attack.

Yet war has not been declared on poverty.
The end result will be an increase in crime rate within the state as I don't see any alternative provided for the keke drivers.

They were banned from operating withing some routes which means they are still in operation. This restriction has been in place in Port Harcourt. You can't see Keke plying Aba road which is the road that cuts through the city center but Keke plies feeder roads while Okada plies satelite towns like Eleme, Oyigbo, Aluu and Igwuruta.

Even in more developed countries than Nigeria, Keke is an accepted mode of public transportation.

Even Nigerian cities much more developed than Owerri, Keke is a decent mode of public transportation.

Because Rochas bought 200 used rickety passat taxis, now he is forcing these poor people out of their livelihood. When he can't even make the passat available and affordable to everyone.

Men, Imo people have had it so bad having a Governor suffering from syphilis induced lunacy.

How did they communicate that these were to banned?

Did they put notices up? Anything in the newspapers? Anything online or on TV or did they rely on word of mouth?

Which 'more developed countries'?

Stop talking rubbish.

India's malnutrition rate passes that of northern Nigeria.

I disagree with your view. They can operate outside the city proper in other densely populated satelite towns. The vacuum created from their ban will create new opportunities for a better and more vibrant transport sector.

Do you even know what you're talking about? With the number of keke in owerri, most times its hard to catch keke going your direction. With this ban what other means of transportation will save the masses? Those Imotaxi or whatever they're calling it that squeezes 4 people at the back and 2 at front? You're as evil as Rochas for you to try to justify this wickedness
