The PDP as a party needs to get it right, it is inky fair they allow the Party Chairman come from the South West, while a Vice President from the SE/SS [/b]is nominated for a northern president. If they derail from this, the position of the Vice President would be thrown open to all Southern geo political zones and the voting power/media/power house of the South west would not want to be shortchanged. Lest i forget, the non inclusion of South Westerners in Jonathan's Government was a major reason the centre did not hold.

I'm finding it hilarious that some people on here are criticizing the governors for not simply bowing to Babangida and GEJ's imposition of Atiku on the PDP. Yes, Buhari is a total failure as a President, but how does an old crook like Atiku bring anything new to the table? Are you Atiku-fanatics delusional, or are you being paid by the post for your propaganda efforts?

If Nigeria's only choice in 2019 comes down to Atiku and Buhari, then the country is finished. What Nigeria needs now is fresh young candidates with new ideas, people who know how the modern world works, and who understand science and economics. Such people will never have a serious chance at becoming Presidential candidates as long as the decisions are made by godfathers like Babangida and GEJ, or governors acting behind the scenes. Nigerian political parties need to have serious finance-campaign laws to limit the influence of big money, and state-by-state open primaries with low barriers to entry, so that promising candidates can rise to the top even without the backing of a few rich men.

Judging by this article, if true that's, it is safe to assume even Atiku is not popular in his own party. Shows you the task ahead of him in his certain to fail bid to rule the country

One would think PDP as a party will be reasonable enough to make someone from the south west their chairman with the intention of picking a vice from the south east but they will simply self destroy if Secondus become their chairman.

That would mean vice has to come from South West and who will that be? Fayose? Don't get me started on that at all. He will be a colossal failure.

pdp votes from south east is not negotiable, even if noting will be done for them by pdp. their concentration should be on south west and north central because NE and NW is already registered to PMB
