Hello Gazzuzz, i saw a used 2005 Prado with automatic tranny & V6 engine, which I intend to buy because it's two-door. Please I need your advice on this model of Prado, before I negotiate/pay for the car. |

im using toyota corolla bank type ,Abeg i need your help , Antilock Brake Warning was ON,and when i want to select a gear it didnt select at all,i leave the car for few minute and its selected but the Antilock Brake Warning still ,what is really going on? |

GAZZUZZ:I have service the gear with ATF oil and still the same thing , its when I press shift lock when I want to drive the gear will select well but when I stop again it will hangs and wouldn't works ,I always press the shift lock before its works please help me out ogami |

Goodmorning sir Gazzuzz My baby boy v6 is having delay in transmission. Especially when engine gets hot. To down shift takes forever until i rev just a lil bit then it downshifts with a thump. Kazeem says we should try changing the gear sensor and if it does not work then burial rights should be performed for the gear  so i decided to consult the oracle. Whats your take boss. |

millomaniac:in a more recent car, I would have attributed certain types of transmission failure to the intermitent crankshaft sensor code. But in this case I will not. Why are you overriding the car's OBD diagnosis? Are you sure if he replaces the transmission these codes wont still be there? |
