Too much attention for eedris..But the governor of his state should atleast recognize him. Maybe a commissioner for public disturbance will fit him.
Abi o grin

Since we have all sorts of commissioners now. After all, we have a 'ccommissioner of happiness'

I read some of the comments here and I kept smiling at your ignorance.

Some of you here don't understand how it feel to fall from grace. Eedris was no1 Nigerian art about a decade ago. We applaud him and chew his songs almost like a well roasted road side yam.

But now we spite him not only because he is trying too much to be relevant again but more because he has fallen from grace.

If Eedris had done all these in his prime times we will be the ones applauding and hailing him just as we did when he sang jagajaga(I practically knew all the lines of that song of heart, back then) and when he spite 50cents, all because he was in form.

I think we the fans or audience also must share in the blame, as we are the ones who is the slow poison to majority of our art's, we only hail them in their prime even when they do worse or stupid things, or better still we turn blind eyes to their silly behaviours just because they are rich or better place in opportunity than we are. Hence they get use to the life thinking that's what we like and It stick and became part of them as they grow.

Non will notice to correct the likes of wizkid, davido etc of their baby mamarism and excessive abuse of marijuana or coke as the case maybe, till they become entangled and completely lost it. It is then we will start abusing them should they try to gain relevance thru this absurd means as Eedris is doing.

I cant say its not a silly act he's been parading all the while but, I feel sorry for Eedris than I hate the former.

Kola is a hypocrite. He accused Eedris of seeking attention, what exactly is Kola doing? he says respected is not bought but commanded but infact respect is not commanded but earned.

When did u enter Navy Town young man? U hardly see Bsc Graduates as Personnels(Ratings)... I Lived in Navy town for over 20yrs...
From Lt Quaters
To
Commanders quarters
To
D3 Old Captains Quaters ( Close to The NN sailing Club).
You don't see Bsc Graduates who Enter the NN as Ratings....
Very Few of them get to go to university while as Ratings
Some of them Later go back to Write NDA Exams or Apply for Dss (Direct short service)...

I don't want to mention names I would have asked u to go to senior rate quarters and see dem. They were my classmates in sec schl. Up to five of them joined as ratings after sec school and now they live in the senior ratings qtrs near mammy MKT. They are LASU Graduates. Let's not over flog the issue. I knw what am saying. At least we are still in the same wassap group as ex classmates and we talk steadily. Its not been easy getting d DSS option for obvious reasons (Naija factor).

stane007:
Do you still remember Naval Officer, Kola Onifoto who rewrote the story of a beggar, Emmanuel, wrongly accused of being a ritualist and almost lynched at Ikeja Under Bridge in Lagos? Well he's back again, and Nigerian veteran singer, Eedris Abdulkareem is topping his least with his recent rants.

Here's his letter below;

"OPEN LETTER TO EDRIS ABDULKAREEM

I remember making a post for you on my wall couple of years ago talking about the few good music you were able to drop for our listening.

I applauded the rhymes, the flow and the delivery as usual, this is our own EDRIS, same man who dissed a whole president, same man who gave us the Mr Lecturer song and many other hits way back..

Same EDRIS who stood his ground against 50Cent in a plane that year and sincerely we Nigerians are proud of you..

Recently sir, you've been trying so hard to be relevant, you've been engaging successful colleagues and have been more controversial than ever.
We would have appreciated you more if you would drop songs about our economic situation in the country yet again, you are good at that sir..

The height of it was kicking an up and coming artiste on stage, kicking him on the balls because he didn't pay proper homage to E-money..
So you can lick ass and stoop so low to impress some certain people?
That you would disgrace a young boy on stage?

Sir, I think you should go for mental evaluation, you and black face..
Hit the studio and do more good music.

Respect is not bought in music, it is commanded.

Kolapo."
