President Muhammadu Buhari accompanied by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Abubakar Badaru on Thursday visited Gerawa Oil Mills Limited and Fullmark Rice Mills Limited, in continuation of the president's 2-day official visit to Kano.

The N18 billion Gerawa Oil Mills is the biggest oil mills in West Africa with a capacity of 1,200 tonnes daily, and when fully operational will employ 5,000 people.

Fullmark Rice Mills is the biggest rice mills in Kano State, and over 90% of the factory is manufactured locally in Kano, within the vecinity of the factory.

This visit concludes President Muhammadu Buhari's 2-day official visit to Kano, and the President departed to Daura by road, accompanied by the governors of Kano and Jigawa.

No, he didn't discover oil in Kano, he simply visited the biggest oil and rice Mills in West Africa. We know there are so many "big things" in S/East. We are also living witnesses to how goatluck ignored crude oil proceeds and moved "greenward" only to be hijacked by Buhari. .

All those Articulated Jews and Kwankwasiyas should take not, 1.9 million votes is still intact. Just look, 8,000 Police officers, 3,000 Military & Paramilitary personals and yet they couldn't contain the massive crowd that came to see President Buhari. As his motorcade pass thru, the noise is deafening but yet you can see the commitment and sincerity of hope from his supporters.

On either side, people scream, wave and take pictures. As he slowed down to savour the moment, the crowd went wild for the 90 seconds and then a rapturous applause. Then, as soon as the limo was gone, you can practically read the contentment on their faces, they clearly got what they came for: a glimpse of President Buhari.

Buhari isn't just a political leader to people of Kano, he is a paternal figure, The Mai Gaskiya. These intimate designations speak to the close bond many Kanawas have traditionally forged with President Buhari. Perhaps the only national political leader to approach Buhari moment of naked popularity was a politician who knew something about Integrity. His name was Mallam Aminu Kano,.
