As a newbie, i recommend that you start with at least 4 quality EXPIRED domains and when you begin to see results, you can be investing more. #10k can get you at least 5 domains.

Mr iyke, is there a way i can get my fund from godaddy. Godaddy claims they dont do wire transfer unless the money reaches $1k.
And the other payment method available is paypal... The money is just $240 i think.

Sorry for replying late sir. actually I haven't sold a domain at godaddy before simply because of their high commission and protocols. Iwill advice you to contact their customer support through live chat or direct call and get things resolved.

Who is the client here?
You don't necessarily take a dotorg because the dotcom has been taken except if numerous other extensions are taken and the name is super valuable. I won't advice you to register anything apart from a dotcom as a newbie. Domain business is very tricky, you have to be sure there are endusers for a name before registering a name or might end up wasting your money registering name that may never sell.

There should be a big need for that in that market still to do such things anyway ? Because even if your domain name is pretty good there should be a buyer for all that stuff anyway all that is not going to happen, but you were lucky to sell it for $550, it's good result.
