The Crisis in Cameroon is big deal because it going exacerbate the current refuge crisis. They're already coming in the thousands to cross river. Nigerians approach seems like best move considering they have a secessionist problem. A full scale civil war would be terrible but it's an interesting war scenario. If Nigeria decides to clandestinely fund rebels could the regain access to bakassi. I don't think it's likely for the Anglophone Cameroon to win looking at numbers though. Fun Fact: Cameroon name is derived from Portugese word Carmarões which means shrimp. |
