There is something synonymous with oil producing states... High cost of living. And its has been spreading across south east region too. the very first time i bought purewater for N10 was about 10 years ago in Akwa Ibom, Npat enim. I took loaded cab of six people for N500 just from Uyo to Npat enim, when i could have used almost the same amount to travel from Lagos to Ibadan.

So lie Muhammed is not a liar after all

here in PH the amount is 19K(that's for foreign rice).
Then, my state of origin(Ebonyi) local rice is sold 4 or 5K i.e for one bushel.

Those of U claiming to have bought rice at 6500 or 10,000 are either lying or paid for local rice.. Rice sells for between 14k and 16500 here in Abj..

In Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, a 50kg bag of foreign rice goes for N19,500.00, while the local rice, the one I bought yesterday, went for N16,500.00...

This wasn't different from what it was around this time last month, when I bought rice too. Moreover, this is rice harvesting season and naturally, the price of rice should be low, alas! that's not the case...

Things are always so different in the ss and
S east when it comes to price of commodities. Desperate businessmen
All over those region.

This may be connected with the fact that Bayelsa state has only one entrance.
The government and some other fake agencies are always tasking lorry with goods. I havent seen such nonsense in any other state. This is the major reason goods are always expensive

When I was in Anambra in 2001, sachet water was N10 when Lagosians were still complaining at N5. Some regions love money than their lives

Here in....., it's about N12,000. I was already planning to write about it and here is a thread attesting to it!
Nigerians are their own problem. Just see how people are asking whether it's foreign or local. I see no difference. What's local here is foreign in another country.

shame on saboteurs like you. Nigeria is over 90% self sufficient in rice production which is the result of the fall in price of the product. This government is working hard to alleviate the pain of sixteen years the PDP had inflicted on Nigerians and no amount of campaign of deceit and calumny will set majority of Nigerians against this government.

Which one is saboteurs again? How much was a bag of rice before Apc took over? For your information in the next 5years your minister of agriculture can't come close to what Adesina achieved under GEJ.

Little wonder he became the 8th president of the African Development Bank after serving under GEJ and he just won World Nobel prize for food 2017.

Even, Kwankwaso a strong Apc member named Nigerian Irrigation farm in Kano after Adesina. Please stop this broken record of 16years chant. Let's see the moment for what it is. The Apc are really lagging behind. Buhari's cabinet is a complete joke. There is hardly any of his ministers that can get a position outside of this country. Is it his minister for sports? Abeg.
