AloyalNigerian:You can use WordPress with Bbpress plug-in if you are not technically savvy. Use Joomla or Drupal if you a bit techy. Alright, if your head is really on fire, why not use Notepad++? Then if you have gone nuts with codes... I mean, you have gone boom like crazy!!! Use basic "Notepad" itself. That's what crazy and Alien programmers use anytime any day. Kudos 1 Like |

You can use pre-built CMS like smf, xenforo and bbpress. You don't need to write codes. You would need a webmaster to install and customize things a bit and give you an admin privilege so you could manage the forum yourself. Contact me if you need more info these cms option. Cheers |

For serious development project, you can go with a good text editor (Subime text, notepad++, etc), a good framework for backend (laravel, django, etc) and frontend (angular, vue, react, etc). Or you could just go with some of the options others have posted above. Cheers 1 Like |
