I was at a Glo shop earlier today to re-register the sim. Much later, after dialing 125 to activate the line, I tried sending 4G to 400 to get confirmation if my Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro was compatible with the Glo band 28(700MHz). Unfortunately, that text and others I tried sending just wouldn't go. Meanwhile, I had made 3 one minute calls so I don't get another story that I should've made some calls.

Then, I twitted at the Glo Twitter handle asking if +2348050001501 was the correct message centre number only to be told that I would only be able to use my line 7 days after registration and that's the new policy. But how come I was able to make those 3 one minute calls? Honestly, that got me lost as I have never heard of anything like that. Glo just takes the cake at ridiculousness.

Don't bother sending sms as it would tell you its not compatible. It happened to me. But the mssg center number is correct.

I'm not sure when the new policy took effect. But it's rubbish.

I hope you didn't pay any kobo for the new registration?

Pay for registration ke? Who does that? I'm so done with the trial and error. I'll just jejely stick with my internet providers. Flirting with Glo was just to know if anything could redeem their horrible 3G.

you can also test an active glo 4g sim on your phone.

I would encourage people to try Glo LTE. Since I have been using it, I am not regretting.

I downloaded a 600MB film under 2mins. Their LTE network is the bomb.

Does the LTE work on every device I'm using CoolPad 3600i and Glo LTE seems to be unavailable...

Please my people, have anyone experience issues with Glo data recently? i just subscribe the glo 1k for 4gig only for it to last 3days. Now the funny thing is that as at this morning i have 2gig left even when i know i didnt download of watch anything since the last 2days,now i was trying to get there customers care online and before my eyes, i watch my data deplete from 2.7, 3.5 to no data is just 2mins.honestly just 2mins and i wasnt even doing anything but waiting for it to get to my turn on their customers care page online. This is painful. Please i want to port now but i need to know which network has better data plan not this fraudsters.

Go to settings and check your data usage. It may be the way you handle some apps.

Airtel blackberry plan of 3 gig still for 1k works on Android. Mtn SME data from 600 naira for 1gig. There is absolutely no need to torture yourself with unfair, grandpa internet and miss out
