Nairobi City today launched its own World Class Data Center that will digitize operations and automate ALL service delivery in the city

A Nigerian man went to a dentist in USA for tooth extraction and first enquired about cost. Dentist said $1200, the Naija man thought it was too much.

After some thought, he asked about cheaper methods.

The dentist said, Yes, it can be done without anesthesia and will cost only $300,but it would be very very painful.

Nigerian said OK Dr, do it without anesthesia.

The dentist removed the tooth without anesthesia and during the entire procedure the Naija man sat quietly, even smiling a little.

The dentist was not only surprised, but was quite impressed and said
I have never seen such a brave patient like you. I don't even want my fees, instead, take this 500$ as a reward, you've taught me such a powerful lesson today about mastering one's pain and feelings !!!

In the evening he met his fellow dentists and told everyone about his amazing Nigerian patient.

Out of all doctors, one doctor jumped up and shouted � that Nigerian man first came to me, I gave him anesthesia and asked him to wait outside for half an hour ! After half an hour when I called him he had left !!!!

Libya 'slaves' to start anew in Nigeria

When Bright stepped off the plane from Libya and heard that his home state in southern Nigeria had begun a rehabilitation programme for returned migrants, he thought it was another scam.

After months of fear, torture and prayers in detention centres in Tripoli or Benghazi, the returnees registered their name, their former address and the telephone number of a loved one.

Bright, who is in his 40s, barely reacted as the Nigerian foreign ministry official, fresh off the plane from Abuja, distributed jollof rice before television cameras.

But when he found out the governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki, had hired a bus to drive them the 400 kilometres (250 miles) home, he felt goosebumps.

"It's the first time in history that this government is doing something for us," the father of three said. "I've always thought I was transparent in my own country."

According to the authorities, there are more than 5,000 Nigerians stranded in Libya. But those who have come back say there are many more. NA WA ! Where is this dude who was saying the numbers are false

The back and forth of IOM charter flights between Libya and Nigeria, which began last year, has increased in recent months.

Two planes now arrive twice a week from Tripoli. Thats an impressive 4 planeloads

Nearly 1,300 Nigerians were brought back in November. The figure was 826 in October. YAWA !
