Yes, if as you said, he just came for a program, and his visa is has already expired, then he is probably staying here illegally. AS for sustaining himself - it's anyone's guess. Infamous:Well I realised marriage will give me access to green card than H1b... After school, i wont be killing myself with employers. The truth is i married for love.
