The same people who would decide your case? Where there is ZERO chance of fair hearing, since the outcome would be skewed (by the bigger thieves) towards a predetermined end that aligns with their own interest? In such circumstance, what purpose does it serve for you to come out and defend yourself? Would that not be suicidal?

I'm not anybody's fan, because EVERY ONE OF THEM is a thief. But the point remains that the Nigerian system is so polluted that it is needless to talk about "defending oneself". It's really a big mess.
