pls what type of yarn is this and where did u get it

@sunshyng, I don't have an exact pattern for the pincushion but a basic miniature hat with stuffing should do.

For example :

Row 1: 6 sc into adj. base ring. Mark first stitch
of each round. Do not join.

Row 2: 2 sc in each stitch around (12 sc).

Row 3: (sc in next st, 2 sc in next) around (18
sc).

Row 4: (sc in next 2 st, 2 sc in next) around (24
sc).

Row 5: (sc in next 3 st, 2 sc in next) around (30
sc).

Rows 6-9: sc in ea st around (30 sc).

Row 10: sc in next st, 2 sc in every 6th st

Row 11: sc in next 2 st, 2 sc in every 6th st

Row 12: sc in next 3 st, 2 sc in every 6th st

Row 13: sc in next 4st, 2sc in every 6th st

Row 14: sl st in next, 1 sc in each st around and tie off.


Stuff hat with polyfiber (pillow stuffing)


Either
1. Pick up stitches on the inside of hat brim and work rounds with reductions on every row to finish at the center.

Or

2. Crochet a flat round circle and sew unto bottom of hat

Or

3. Cut a round piece of felt or fabric and sew to bottom of hat.



Make flower band for attachment to rim.

Beautiful, beautiful stuff you gat going here. Didn't know crochet is a thing (thought it was something for oldies to help them kill time).
My daughter has a deep love for crochet but I haven't done anything to encourage her. Is there anyway you can help in this regard. She's 10 and in JSS 2 BTW.

I was about 10 when I started to knit and crochet. Luckily my mum taught me the basics. We also had a pattern magazine at the time.

Today, there are more than a million video tutorials especially on YouTube which could be helpful.
