Am pushed to write again, like every sooth sayer , the urge to speak forth has finally displayed the odds to desist.
For clarity, i never base my politics permutations or predictions on sentiments but always see it purely from a business perspective, think my last political post was after the last election when i predicted the northernization of Buhari's administration and the consequences that will follow, vividly remembered Tonyebarcanista asking me to be patient but today all has played out.
Finally back to nairaland after a long period of self ban and had watched from the side line how it has turned to an arena of hatred.

Today, am focused on the SW politics, for all i see there is danger ahead. The fallout of the last PDP convention has opened many eyes on how sensitive our south western brothers are.. I was one of those who supported the idea of a SW having the top gun position in the last convention and was infact annoyed with the SS for campaigning but they were more convincing with a clear proof of disunity in SW PDP, now the winner carried the day and instead of being loyal to the party , our SW brothers started threatening fire and stone.

Indeed that validated the point of the SS that they can't be trusted with such position. You see, SW is the most wisest of all region but they are not smart, they remind me of Britian , intelligent, cunning but never smart enough, this obviously cost them their greatness.
SW politics is at its most unbalanced state at the moment, it is clear that the North has hijacked Apc with no restructuring mindset while SS/SE has hijacked the PdP with restructuring mindset.

To vote Buhari will be simply a vote of humiliation cause they will be moved further off power and voting for pdp now will even be tbe worse, such is the dilenma that befalls the SW..

The only way forward is for the SW to go back and forge a fresh alliance with her fellow southerners if not i see danger ahead.. After 2019 will 2023 which will produce an ibo president candidates from the leading parties(whether some kids in nairaland agree or not, makes me wonder how SW will endure such a long time..

The best bet in 2019 will be a low turnout of SW voters which will be 50: 50 between Apc and
Pdp

Now, think about this :

The only way forward is for the SE to go back and forge a fresh alliance with her fellow southerners if not i see danger ahead.. After 2019 will 2023 which will produce Yoruba president candidates from the leading parties(whether some kids in nairaland agree or not, makes me wonder how SE will endure such a long time. .

To forge alliance with southerners that see us as there worst enemy.
Some Igbo geographers here on NL even said we're technically not in the South grin
Well, that concerns us less, buhari or pdp becoming d president is not a problem also (of what benefit is buhari to us before)
What matters the most is the SW governors riding on the same platform to promote continuity, progressed and strengthened unity amongst the western states.

Pdp governors aren't patriotic towards the growth and progress of any SW states e.g Fayose. They are programmed to whine and shift blames without doing anything all through their tenure

well said. The current performance being witnessed by the SW, wont be traded for that Pro-Biafran party's policy of entrenched backwardness and non-inclusiveness.

Lagos won't be what it is if one whining PDP governor as taken over.
Tinubu stayed in the opposition for years, but he didn't make Facebook or twitter become is abode for crying and wailing without working.
Fayose is in the opposition for two years now and he has kept crying since then and doing absolutely nothing than to sit and criticise
