The former IBF middleweight champion challenges for Saunders’ WBO strap in his hometown on Saturday night but needed to shed his pants to make the weight. And Saunders’ trainer Dominic Ingle was incensed as he thought Lemieux was allowed to jump off the scales before the weight had settled. Ingle remonstrated with the officials and had to be dragged away as promoter Frank Warren then supervised Lemieux’s re-weigh.
