Yes and police can arrest police once there's an order from above. Go to police headquarters in ikeja, u will see a lot of policemen in detention. That Lagos State CP is not joking.

Ending #SARS is not the issue for they are still Men of the @PoliceNG and So they wouldn't lose their jobs but probably redeployment and what if another name is created?

The Nigerian police outfit has become laughable overtime; a machinery of terror and set in its ways. The failure of regular policing gave birth to this SARS outfit,and with it,hydra-headed monstrosity.But,it doesn't need to be scrapped.It can be reformed in such a way that it will be accountable to the people. As it is,it very much seem that it is a force,may be excessive and reckless force on its own.
The whole police force needs a revolutionary purge.Many young graduates can be trained in the art and science- forensic- of policing secretly to take over from these tired,at times,decrepit police people,who should be in advisory roles.
Policing is a serious business and should not be left in the hands of many blood-loving, trigger-driven people pretending to be policing the country.

Those police are known as MONITORING UNIT just as you have military police in the army who can also arrest fellow soldiers
