I thought security was already in the budget? If we use this money on Agriculture, it will be more beneficial to the masses. Let them continue to deceive themselves. There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed.

Should someone else do the same for your own entire tribe?
Does that make sense to you? Is it a fair thing to do?

If only this fake pastor could keep quiet for a while and let his brain-dead boss speak to us. Why's he of the habit of doing damage control for their inept and uncoordinated government?

One of their own (Obaseki) was on national TV to inform us that the approval was for fighting Boko Haram in the north east without any mention of Fulani herdsmen and other security challenges. And here we have the lying pastor telling us what is obviously a concorted lie.

If Osinbajo is one of the reverred pastors of Adeboye's RCCG, may I never be a member or identify with them. Before, neither the church nor their 'Daddy GO' inspires me, so I'm not disappointed that Osinbajo has not walked his talk of faith.

[BREAKING] $1bn not for anti-Boko Haram war alone, Osinbajo says
Published December 19, 2017

Olalekan Adetayo, Abuja

VIce-President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday said the much-criticised $1bn that state governors asked the Federal Government to withdraw from the Excess Crude Account was not meant for the fight against insurgency alone.

He said the sum was meant for all security challenges being experienced in all the states of the federation.

Osinbajo gave the clarification at the opening of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation/Secretaries to State Governments’ retreat at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

It will be recalled that the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum, Abdulaziz Yari, had, at a meeting of the National Economic Council last Wednesday, announced that the governors had asked the Federal Government to withdraw $1bn from the ECA to fight insurgency.

The decision had attracted criticisms from groups and individuals, including the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose; and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.

But Osinbajo explained that the governors resolved to approve the money for national security after a national security summit organised by the National Executive Council about two months ago.

He said the summit considered various security challenges across the country, including kidnapping, small arms trafficking, terrorist activities of Boko Haram in the North East, clashes between herdsmen and farmers, as well as cattle rustling.

The Vice-President said, “It was on account of the security summit that the governors at the Governors’ Forum subsequently decided that they would vote a certain sum of money, which has become somewhat controversial, the $1bn, to assist the security architecture of the country.

“It was to assist all of the issues in the states, including policing in the states, community policing, all of the different security challenges that we have.

“It was after the security summit that the Governors’ Forum met across party lines –again, I must add — in order to approve and to accept that this is what needed to be done to shore up our security architecture.”

Osinbajo’s explanation was, however, in contrast with the statement made by the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, while addressing State House correspondents at the end of the NEC’s meeting.

Obaseki was clear in his presentation that the $1bn was approved for the fight against insurgency.

He had said, “Pleased with the achievements that have been made till date in the fight against insurgency, particularly in the North East, the governors of Nigeria through their chairman announced at the NEC meeting that the governors have given permission to the Federal Government to spend the sum of $1bn on the fight of insurgency.

“This money is supposed to be taken from the Excess Crude Account.

“As you know, the issue of security, particularly with regard to the North East, is a very comprehensive response by federal forces.

“So, we expect that the contribution of the states to these efforts will cover the whole array of activities required to secure the country and counter insurgency.

“We expect that the amount will include but not limited to purchase of equipment, procuring intelligence and logistics and all what is required to ensure that we finally put an end to the scourge of insurgence.”

It's a great deal of pleasure feeling knowing about the provactiveness of the Government in tackling virtually all the security breach related issues causing the Nation sleepless nights over and over again as clearly enumerated in the report above.

Of course, We weren't part of the criticism of the $1,000,000,000 Voted for the exercise of overcoming the challenges wholesomely and comprehensively indeed as again understood from the defense by the VP that its isn't meant for the procurement of arms only but incorporating non-military related contingencies.

Now, The quotation is

1. Earlier this year, We read about the memorandum of understanding to purchase arms and ammunition including fighter jets worth N18,000,000,000

2 Was The News back then True? YES or NO?

3. If No, Why don't other measures that are related to reorientation of the populace along the Spiritual line? After all, That was the foundational root of all the headache the lawless group where formed or birthed?

In relation with the trending wave sweeping the entire World apart already? And this is in particular referred here because there is a revelation about it in relation to their Identity Name even?

Let Us Not want to believe another related revelation about the elitists hands and Brains behind them ok

4 If Yes,

A. Has the N18 Billion been expended in the regard it was voted for?

B. If Yes, So how come it is ineffective and virtually nonexistent? As most often than not, the report we often hear is that the military arsenal at Nigeria's Military disposal are still the same bought from the $2 B looted fund otherwise referred to as Dansuki-Gate?

C. Like We posited earlier above, Don't We think that the way of coming out of and overcoming disputes and challenges are Build around the round tables? Rather than a continued fire exchange leaving innocent people in disarray and driving them into comatose?

With Women and children usually the most and worst hit?

Finally And in relation to the knowledge made public by the Minister of Information - Alhaji Lai Muhammed that the SHIA ISLAMIC LEADER'S continued incarceration was meant for his safety and good,

So, Isn't that an evidence of the fact that the Government is in the knowledge of Our (GOD) existence and rather than exploiting such is deciding otherwise?

For there are myriads of revelation already pointing to so many things that we haven't even revealed yet but out of the Love and respect as a cultural heritage that would be serving as part of Our (NIGERIA) export commodity ni oooo

One would asked what happened to the Billion Naira appropriated in the 2018 budget for Security.

If you say is for state. Can you tell us how much each state will get?.

Which state policing is he talking about, the one that has not been approved.

We say we are Practicing True Federalism. Is only on paper.

Prof. Osinbanjo continue to contradict your self. I listened to what Obaseki said on the national TV after the FEC meeting and is totally different from what this young man is saying.

I don't know why God is delaying in coming.
Let me not judge Prof. Osibanjo but let God who sees even our intention be his judge.

Sincerely speaking he has not done well at all considering been a pastor and he has reputation at stake and young ones look up to him.

They have all failed!... let the truth be told.
Some of our young men and women who genuinely wanted to study abroad are been denied Student Visa.... reasons: Due to unstable economic situation in your home country and political unrest we are not sure you return to your home country after your studies.
The damage this people have done to this country wether APC or PDP can not be quantified and they keep on deceiving people.
The international community knows Nigeria better than us, you might doubt me but is all your choice.
