I'm not trying to dapen ur spirit buh I think you should start praying for Uniben to give u good courses like SLT, ich , biochem and not soil science or plant bio..

my friends got 73 and another got 69 respectively for medicine buh they've been transferred to animal science and human kinetics..they've been crying saying Uniben should have given them better course like mls, SLT, nursing,

I think u should face reality bro....if you have someone at the top as a strong connection, I guess you should start contacting them to place u in a cool course and not edu courses or agric...

Many Uniben students after gaining admission proceed to make certain stupid mistakes.

Some of these silly mistakes are as a result of what they think was wise to do. These mistakes actually go a long way to affect them physically, psychologically, academically and even emotionally.
As a result, most of them end the session with GP less than 3.0 on a scale of 5.0.
After three years of experience in the great University of Benin, I have been able to make analysis of the stupid mistakes made by 100 Level students.
The mistakes discussed below are not exclusive to 100 level students. However, it has greater effects on them.
In addition, it is applicable to UNILAG, UNIPORT, LASU, UI, ABSU, AAU, BUK, DELSU, FUTA, UNN, LU and other Nigerian university students.
MISTAKES MADE BY UNIBEN STUDENTS IN THEIR YEAR ONE
1. NO PROPER GUIDE
Many Uniben students in their first year live as if they were the first persons to get admitted. Immediately they see their names in the admission list, they feel that is all. They do not ask questions about the school, their department or course of study. They also fail to realize that it is what they have in their head that takes them ahead in school.
Uniben is not called UNISTRESS for nothing. Many Uniben students are facing challenges in 200L as a result of what they didn’t know in 100L. For you not to experience the challenges your senior students are facing, you must know what they didn’t know. You need to be properly guided on:
Resumption date
Clearance date
The required documents
Updates on course registration
Uniben school Fees payment deadline
How Uniben students should Jark
How exam questions are set
The university marking scheme
Tips to avoid missing scripts or Absent cases
Understanding Unistress

2. SAYING YES TO DISTRACTIONS
I can tell you that distraction is one of the main things advertised in Uniben. The distractions come in different dimensions. This makes it more difficult to identify. In Uniben, distractions come in form of:
Social activities
Pretty girls and handsome boys
Parasitic relationship
Campus fellowship
Prioritize your time so as to accomplish the tasks that produce the best result for your academics. You cannot stop distractions from coming your way. However, you can choose not to be distracted.

I have an issue that is bothering me ATM,I got admsn to study INDUSTRIAL CHEM(initially I apllied for medicine,n pharmacy),earlier this year in UNIBEN,I was able to pay d acceptance fee #50,000 n som other fees but was unable to complete the rest such as sch fees,clearance,etc.
My qst is_ is it possible to continue with d clearance or I should just 4get abt d admsn and take a new JAMB form?

Do know that you won't be able pay school fees until you have been cleared. After payment of the acceptance fee, it is expected you upload the necessary documents, which is practically the online clearance for "physical clearance date", which will be made known on a later date. Continue with the clearance and if you so much love med&surg or pharmacy, you can take jamb 2018 while in 100Level.
