People will answer yes because of their religions, but the answer is NO. God doesn't punish people, rather, people punish and torment people.
God the maker of the multiverse made a spaceless open-ended mulitverses. We are here to manifest the potentials of God Almighty. To rever God's creatures as the totality of God Almighty is the gravest mistake ever committed. How does it sound to call a pebble a mountain? That is irony. I laugh when I see people worshipping any of the creatures of God as the totality of God Almighty. Some say that God is Allah, some say it is Mazda, some say it is Olorun, Moloch, Vishnu, Enlil, Odin, Enki, Yahweh, Nzame, etc. It is very laughable. It is like cutting a microscopic part of something and calling it the whole. No matter how Yahweh or Allah or Vishnu or all these other gods human beings worship try hard to be God the summation of everything, they can't just get near.

Are we the creatures of God Almighty? Yes. How does God Almighty correct us? Does he punish us when he never for once gave us instructions concerning how we should behave in whatever planets we find ourselves? No. God only said, USE YOUR BRAINS. if we use our brains as God told his creatures, our wrongs would be minimal on earth. And even God doesn't see us the way we see ourselves.
Corrections by God Almighty are done without punishments. I am aware that some God-wannabe are promising to throw people inside 'forever and ever' fire because of ordinary human mistakes. Those are not God ALMIGHTY but some haters.

It's obvious that it's not the god of Israel I'm talking about. There's God Almighty who created the God of Israel. That's the one I'm talking about.
