Correction:most states are NOT viable.

Even many seemingly rich (high FA and IGR) are up to their neck in debt. Those debt that last 25 years to pay off. And each governor keeps borrowing more.
Now ask me reasons for splitting old Ondo, Bendel, Kano, Kwara, Gongola and other states.

Governors & cabinet with legions of SA & SSAs, SHoA with a bloated civil service gulp 70 to 80& of state budget.
So the excuse of bringing governance closer to the people by creating states anyhow is very lame.

Imagine somebody's grandad living on 1000 Naira pension. shocked

I think its time we declare our past govt from 1986 to 2017 as terrorist organization cos of the pains they put us through the other day in 2013 I saw a pensioner who retired in 1994 who came to withdraw 900 as hi pension I wept bitterly inside bank.
