hehe. This used to leave me puzzled.

The online print out ( the one you check using scratch cards) and the Original certificate (the one waec gives you) are both statements of result.

Now, to your question, any of these two result statement's documents will suffice FOR NOW. Later on, when you're doing your clearance again, you'll have to get the original if you didn't have it before. I haven't gotten mine; I used the online print-out when I did my clearance.

Anyone here got an idea if i can change my ATM card from verve to Master Card @ the bank? Been trying to pay my acceptance fees with my verve ATM and it ain't just working.

U know when school resumes there'll be more online transactions like tuition fees, hostel fees, matric gown and etcetera and i can't just move around paying cash to other people's account for online transactions all because i ain't got a Master Card lest i fall into the hands of a swindler.

Well Geofavour Has Said Its Also A Statement Of The Result, But I Wouldn't Advice You To Use It

U don't need to go arnd paying money in any1 account. Most of the shops at main gate will make d payment for u with their cards all u have to do is give them d money at hand when they are thru. Some ll request for additional #100 as bank charge.

Uhm, the card should be ready by the
time you resume school...or were you told
to come back for it in one year time?

Wow, kudos. Why didn't you try transferring? I think that would have been easier. Or, is transfer to law not allowed?

If you don't have your original certificate yet, you can use your online print-out (it never comes with a passport and this doesn't matter since you'll only be using it momentarily). If you're using the online print-out, though, make sure it's is coloured so that the clearance officer doesn't have a reason to complain.

Don't get caught up in some hook during clearance. Get your original waec certificate if you are using GCE and if it's school waec, go to the school you wrote it for its statement of result.

You don't know the kinda clearance officer you will be given, some have zero joy, some are friendly. I know of someone who got some online result printout out rejected. To be on a safe side and just incase...get all what they asked for before coming.
