Your country isn't even among the top20 destination for Nigerians abroad... Every year Nigerians abroad remit billions of dollars (one of the highest in the world) to the country's economy... I can bet my balls that less than $20m comes from Kenya.. Most Nigerians are there for tourism and business....

By the way, l really love Sauti Sol's Melanin. To me that song and the video may likely win an award.

Africans generally do not see the business side of the arts. it seems science is at the forefront of the narrative for development and rightly so, but the arts also play a part.
Nigerians have always been specially gifted in the arts..Story telling, drama, music, fashion and the fine arts is our thing! from the ancient Nok culture to lfe and Benin kingdoms. Even now, our only noble prize laurette is from literature, and Chinua Achebe's book is the most translated book from the black race in the world. We love stories, and so we have no problem writing hundreds of scripts for movies in a year(no matter the criticism or failures).

Seeing that we are generally more talented in the arts, l would say music and dancing is a great export and could truly bring development if Nigeria( many parts of Africa) can exploit the business aspect of it in this digital age.
