I didn't click on that link because I know it's fake news. But that fake news aside, if Ballon d'Or is given to the best player in the World then #Messi would be winning it since 2010. Unfortunately, Ballon d'Or has become more of a popularity contest wherein each year the Real Madrid organization always pulls out all the stops and campaign hard to make sure that Cristiano Ronaldo wins
