Don't you think that other people quote these verses as well? Yes, indeed! They quote these verses as well and pray and fast for the indwelling of the Spirit yet at the end what they receive is nothing but demons! The only one way to receive the Holy Spirit is to receive remission of sins by believing in the word of God, if you like do 40 days of praying and fasting you cannot receive the Holy Spirit if you have even a tiny amount of sin in your heart. Spirit of God cannot dwell where there is sin. As it is written in ( Genesis 1:2-3 ) "Now the earth was without shape and empty, and darkness was over the surface of the watery deep, but the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the water. God said, “Let there be light.” And there was light". Can you see it? It says the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the water, why? because the earth which represents human heart was without shape, empty and in total darkness. Put this way because the heart was full of sins. What happened after? God said let there be light and there was light. So as we can see here it is only through the Word of God that that darkness can recede and the true light comes in because they both cannot co-exist.
And again I admonish you to abandon your thoughts and download that book to read.

My point is to change the notion that we can receive another Spirit while we ask for Holy Spirit which is not possible as I've clearly stated with biblical evidence.
Yes. it is possible for some to c!aim to be using Holy Spirit while they are acting demonic power but they are sure aware of it, not that they asked for Holy Spirit and were given demonic Spirit.

No matter how little or childish anyone in life is, he/she can clearly identify between light and darkness, not even a mad man that is out of his sense not to talk of a sensitive issue like receiving Holy Spirit.

The apostles and the Early Church actually spoke in tongues. But now we are living in the last days the Bible in 2 Thess 2:9-12 "The arrival of the lawless one will be by Satan’s working with all kinds of miracles and signs and false wonders, and with every kind of evil deception directed against those who are perishing, because they found no place in their hearts for the truth so as to be saved. Since the spirit of anti-christ is strongly at work now let us focus on preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. If I may ask you what is the purpose of miracles and wonders? Is it not to make unbelievers accept the word? But do unbelievers really accept the gospel with miracles and wonders now? NO! When they go to miracle centres they actually go there to gain material blessings through miracles. In no distant time they totally abandon the Word and seek only miracles. Take for instance, Shiloh by Oyedepo Winners Chapel. When I watched the events, the only testimonies i heard were only about material possessions, getting married, giving birth after years of barreness, buying cars, building houses, gaining admission and graduating etc. What is all this nonsense? What about the testimony of salvation that Christians should be happy about? It is very far from Shiloh! Satan has actually hijacked miracles and is using them to deceive Chrisrians we must be wise as serpents and gentle as doves as the Bible says. Since Satan has messed up everything, let us leave miracles and wonders for him and start developing faith in the word of God because that is the only way to overcome the world of Satan the Devil. "1 John 5:4 because everyone who has been fathered by God conquers the world. This is the conquering power that has conquered the world: our faith." If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

If with sincerity of mind, holiness of heart, asking God for Holy Spirit cannot result to being filled or possessed by demon.
