I'm a fresh graduate and I intend going for my master immediately before going for service.

I studied statistics in one of the states universities and I intend doing my master in a federal university (preferable unlag, uniben or UI). I I finished with strong 2.2 and I will advance on what steps to take on how to get started.

Many Nigerian universities, especially the ones you mentioned (to the best of my knowledge), require your NYSC certificate as part of the screening/registration process. I can't remember if you'll need to submit it while applying. If it's not needed at the application stage, you can apply in the course of your service when you're sure that you'd have passed out by the time the certificate is needed.
