i believe ImportExpert do not require any form of formal introduction. but for those that are just knowing me for the first time, i am one of those few Nigerians that earn legitimate income online through different online earning platforms. for the sake of this thread, our focus is affiliate marketing with clickbank.

the reason why i am doing this is to create a knowledge base and landmarks for the future generation to know the height we have reached in affiliate marketing so that they can benefit and advance on it. i also want this thread to serve as a major reference tool for any Nigerian that wants to go in to affiliate marketing.

WHAT IS AFFILIATE MARKETING?

Simply put, affiliate marketing is a kind of online business that you serve as a middle man for big firms, online stores; individuals etc. and get a commission for any of their products that was bought through your recommendation.

Example:

You sell eBooks or software, I recommend your eBooks to my friends and they bought it, then you pay me commission for every single sale I brought to you. Simple. In the above example, you are referred to as a merchant, I am an affiliate/publisher and my friends are customers/leads.

For better understanding, see below image. Customer came to merchant’s store or product through affiliate and merchant paid affiliate commission.

So in Simple Words,
Many online companies and individuals that sell digital products like software or informational products (video, audio, eBooks etc.) or physical products like Shoes, bags, phones or services like Web hosting space or any online service, offers an affiliate program. and they need you to recommend their products to new people



REQUIREMENTS FOR STARTING AFFILIATE MARKETING IN NIGERIA

1. Accounts with the Clickbank.com
2. Foreign address for registering on clickbank. I will show you how to get it later
3. An account with payoneer for receiving of earnings. Discussed later
4. A vpn (visual private network) from turbo vpn for changing your location

GETTING STARTED USING CLICK BANK.

To register on clickbank you will need a vpn (virtual private network). this is a simple tool that is capable of changing your location from Nigeria to different countries like USA, Uk, GERMANY etc. examples include worldvpn, openvpn, pdproxy, tweakware vpn, hidemyass etc. these are not free vpn but are inexpensive and sometimes comes with free trial.

Most fake marketers that do not know anything about affiliate marketing but parading themselves as pros will tell you to register a u.s clickbank account. They are their parading it on various blogs, eBooks and websites. Please do not register a u.s clickbank account because you will be faced with the tax id problem and this can affect your withdrawal. Register only UK clickbank account.

How To Register A Uk Clickbank Account

Of recent, clickbank is stricter in terms of registering a clickbank account from black listed countries. Less secured vpns are no longer able to do the job. After trying tens of vpns that include but not limited to anonymox, connected over, anonymize, worldvpn etc. I noticed that the best route to go is to use turbo vpn on an android phone. From all the vpns and different accounts I tried to register on different platforms, I recorded more success using this strategy. Below is the step by step procedure of registering a clickbank account with turbo vpn on android phone.

Step1
Visit your play store and search for “turbo vpn”.

Step2
Download and install the vpn. Below is what its interface looks like. Click on the globe icon to show the list of servers and click uk.

confirm that you are actually connected and the service we will be using this time around is www.whatismyipaddress.com once on the website, click on “show more details about my ip”.
This time we are not only confirming that we are connected but we also want some details from the page. Details like: zip postal code, city, state/province.
The major thing we need from the page is the zip postal code.

Once you have gotten the details, head on to www.yell.com And search for an address within your zip code, mine above is EC2V. Search for a particular business around the zip code. In the first place for the search I entered barbers and the other place is for my zip code. You can search for plumber, electrician, carpenter etc.

Once you click on search below page will come up with addresses within your zip code. Always choose an address that is not more than few yards to 5 miles away.

The next thing to do after getting the address is to head on to google.co.uk and search for clickbank, this is because let it seem to clickbank that you were referred by Google. Click the first search provided which is www.clickbank.com . Just click on the menu button and select “create an account”
