Nigeria has had a stable economy with corruption tamed since Muhammadu Buhari became president, the Buhari Volunteers Movement (BVM) claims.

National Coordinator of the group, Paul Michael disclosed this in a statement on Monday.

Michael described the president as a man ready to sacrifice his comfort for the country's progress.

He stated that, “When we supported and worked for the emergence of Buhari, we did it simply to ensure that the path of Nigeria is redirected from corruption to a path of growth and development, where transparency and accountability become the hallmark of governance.

"We knew, however, that it was not going to be easy to ‘change’ Nigerians and Nigeria, since corruption has been a norm and taken grip of every sector of the country. We had confidence on the capability of President Muhammadu Buhari in taming corruption.

“Today, despite the dwindling and epileptic economy that was inherited by the Buhari administration, every sincere Nigerian can say prudence has returned to government and the economy has stabilized.”

he tamed corruption so that corruption now only obeys he & his thieving cabal...


he stabilised the economy by ensuring more Nigerians were plunged into the financial hardship with no hope of escaping & as such they have accepted their fate...
