For a company that has not made a name, would you honestly buy any new unknown design from them.?

Bad belle masquerading under constructive criticism.

What is unique about Nigeria as a whole?
Whats this dirty opinion, that has mediocrity written all over it, u just dropped up there?

Does a company now need a big name to make something unique of its own?

What kinda dull reasoning is this?

It's unemployable dull brains like urs that re alws screaming unemployment about....

How can you ever get employed with a brain like this?

I beg to differ Sir. This gesture by the military is enough to convince anyone who would venture into defence R&grin and production that there would be patronage. PROFORCE in Ogun State has continued to thrive because of such patronage and have now started to move into bigger armoured vehicles. The Federal Government recently got an approval of 1 billion dollars to equip the army. Any serious person who wants to get a good chucnk of that money for military equipment will approach the army now and not wait for the army to come meet you.

Besides, the army need not set up or move to any place because there are 'experts' in defence armaments there. Those guys you mentioned should formed a cluster and become a defence 'silicon valley'. The army won't have a choice but patronize them. Good examples are Lockheed Martin, Russian Helicopters, Sukhoi etc

amadifire:
After the civil war, the Army should have invested heavily in military capability, experience and skills of the south Easterns, the Biafrian ex scientists should have been called, empowered to build military capabilities. When Africa was still in the dark, this easterns made Local Tanks, Jet fighters, bunkers, local weapons, and the almighty BOMB, OBUNIKWE, and lot more they did, instead many were killed and jailed. Just imagine one man called Innoson, there are lots of them abroad. It good that the military did this, yet the easterns are watching if there are ploys attached, if the military can sustain this sincerely and truthfuly and diversifying this step accross ethnic lines and not focusing it AS A NORTHERN MILITARY PROJECT AND NOT NIGERIAN PROJECT, the more hatred will ensue. More IBO scientists and defence entrepreneurs, more richer than Dangote in monery terms, ready to invest in defence are hidden and are all watching. IBO people are watching, and the nation is watching.

My opinion is that, the military should move their defence manufacturing base near to the source of expertise, resources, human resources, etc,

Military should plan for the future, as we anticipate for a united Nigeria, as part of defence master plan, south East should be both air and land defence manufacturing base, south south for the Navy, because IBOs are going to be more on heavy duty technology if God tarries His coming and says Nigeria will be in 100years, I see South East and south South as Japan of Africa.

While, North should focus on Agriculture, West on Education and Economic hub of Nigeria.

My pray that God will unit Nigeria and deal with tribal sentiment, just as the military has done now

You are dumb as fucck.

A company that has not yet gotten the confidence and trust of Nigerians even in its production of well established brands, is who you want to go produce something unique?

When did Innoson become Toyota or BMW with well-established public confidence in their products?

Once again, you are dumb.

Only if you read well. The Nigerian Army initially procured 3 of these vehicles and later 70 and they subjected them to battle-situation tests in the North-East. The vehicles performed well and now they are back for a proper arrangement on supply and services. It's all in the post if you read well
