For stating that the All Progressives Congress was not involved in the final stage of the recently released board appointments, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, says the APC national chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, has exposed the “confusion” in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.


Newsworth had reported Oyegun as stating that while the ruling party was carried along in the initial compilation of the list of appointees that has been found to contain the names of at least six dead Nigerians, it was not privy to the final outcome of the nominations it made two years ago.

“But we were not fortunate to participate in that final stage,” the APC national chair had said on Saturday.

Reacting to this comment on Monday, National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbodiyan, described Oyegun’s comment as not just ridiculous but an indication that the party in power had lost confidence in Buhari’s governnment.

A simple,truthful statement that d names were compiled in 2015 but was not vetted b4 announcement would've sufficed but these ppl don lie lie lie,sotey them no know when dem go lie d one wey go be indictment on them.
