3(x+1) - 6 (x) = 2 * x * (x+1)

3x + 3 - 6X = 2x( x+1)

3x-6x + 3 = 2x^2 + 2x

3x - 6X -2x + 3 = 2x^2

-5x + 3 = 2x^2

2x^2 + 5X - 3 = 0


Solve as quadratic

3/x - 6/(x+1)=2

3(x+1) - 6 (x) = 2 * x * (x+1)

3x + 3 - 6X = 2x( x+1)

3x-6x + 3 = 2x^2 + 2x

3x - 6X -2x + 3 = 2x^2

-5x + 3 = 2x^2

2x^2 + 5X - 3 = 0


Solve as quadratic

OP you have to take time and understand how to expand brackets and collect like terms. With that, you are good to go.

should be a mistake as this is not a quadratic equation. even if simplified, it shouldnt have two roots.
